I stamped on crushed curry cardstock with so saffron ink. The purple and green papers were from scraps and the purple ribbon I picked up at Walmart (i think). I used a very thin ribbon pulled it through the button holes then frayed the ends to make the stamen for the flower. The pic. is taken on my new phone so was kinda playing with scraps and the phone at the same time;) lol<br />

I used the stampin up set Thanks for Caring for the sentiment. I made the medallion behind it with the nestabilities small scallop set. I also embossed with my cuttlebug. I took this photo and then realized that it needed a bit more so I added a tiny pearl in the middle above the with deepest. Sorry no time for another photo as mom got here to pick it up. I am leaving early for a soccer tournament weekend and will not be back till late Sunday so this is my last post for the hop. I loved the pic of this fairy and colored it with stampin-up and copics and sharpie markers. To me this looks as the fairy is helping a lil lost girl get home with her pixie helper riding a bat. I hope this is what my cards do for someone, brighten their day. I made another rose, purple this time and the butterfly is from the new Strength and Hope set from Stampin-Up. This set benefits breast cancer research fund. Have a great weekend and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a lil Candy surprise.Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-41892484974505830232011-04-14T19:07:00.000-07:002011-04-15T10:21:38.726-07:00Cricut Card Fairies 3 years Celebration! Today we are celebrating the Cricut Card Fairies!! We turned THREE YEARS OLD yesterday! YAY! What are Cricut Card Fairies you may be asking? Well I am here to tell you! We are a group of crafting volunteers who LOVE to send cards to those that need it. To date we have sent over 750 missions all over the globe. That is over 750 smiles and hugs via cards. Isn't that amazing? I became a fairy in 2009 because I believe everyone can make a difference. I teach my children that you don't need a lot of money to make a difference in someones life. Being a fairy gives me a good feeling knowing I may be the difference between a happy day or moment and a sad one. If you are interested in becoming a fairy you can email Crystal at <a href="mailto:cricutcardfairyarmy@gmail.com" target="_blank">cricutcardfairyarmy@gmail.com</a> with your cricut messageboard name and the email for which you wish to receive missions. </i><br />
Here is the card I have made for the celebration. I used some stampin up stamps and made the rose with the owl punch. This is why I love being a fairy the sentiment says "one person can make such a difference and that person is you! Happy Birthday fairies! Leave a comment for a chance to win some candy!<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Welcome Tilly isn't she just adorable! So on this card I colored Tilly first then used an embossing pen and pearl glitter embossing powder for the spots on her dress and her bracelet. I set her aside and started on the card. I knew I wanted a spring card so what is more spring than flowers climbing a garden wall trellis. I cut a rectangle hole out of my card and a backing paper, free handed a trellis with eighth inch strips of white card. The flowers were all made with my cuttlebug and the Dahlia nestabilities set. the roses on the front are made with 3 cuts from the smallest die and the inside flower from the smallest 2. The leaves are freehand cut from green wrapping paper ribbon, as well as the ribbon on the inside of the card. I used my grass punch as well and viola! Hope you like it, cus I really liked how she turned out. </div>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-68868272206825950202011-03-23T05:09:00.000-07:002011-03-23T05:09:03.049-07:00Scott a new Digi from Simply Betty<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTxzqlSod2m0RHLKf5Yvk9kMYgv3KJ4ZyXtNvOR4UgJlgk8yscEqDiqIcs1S0EQTNJjVf9KiQQQIf0s9bjxsTYzTyr9F-5EoNdfUJS85x-Idz5ePr9U-WxnbNnE5mV6v338VeCaMGgr4I/s1600/scott+001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTxzqlSod2m0RHLKf5Yvk9kMYgv3KJ4ZyXtNvOR4UgJlgk8yscEqDiqIcs1S0EQTNJjVf9KiQQQIf0s9bjxsTYzTyr9F-5EoNdfUJS85x-Idz5ePr9U-WxnbNnE5mV6v338VeCaMGgr4I/s320/scott+001.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />

<br />
So here is what I came up with for Scott. Isn't he a cutie! First I colored him up with sharpies and Copics ( I finally got a few, 4 to be exact, but it's a start). I cut out a basket shape on the front of my card then started a basket weave. The handle is made using braided ribbon. I then used a punch for the grass and layered it in the basket. I used the same for the grass on the bottom of the card. I used a light blue and a white ink and a cut flower for the clouds. It looked a lil too plain so I enlarged the eggs from the Scott digi and added them into the grass. I used a large purple egg that is really a sticky note (target for $1) for a place to write on the inside. Simple but I liked the way he turned out..Hope you like him.Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-60497326600975320292011-03-21T17:41:00.000-07:002011-03-21T17:41:22.202-07:00Anniversary card<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjnJNtQnbHs73ESTrseYwhFqLcIsO9kKtHue8BzSd2gw3_FH6x62MZCco0KSHy-yezyC29as38OWjPqRx_27LJjH1py5PTvnqWGn5OMJJcAv2fx2b3ljEf-G3T0_gngduZPDAg7Ku4a1s/s1600/anniversary.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjnJNtQnbHs73ESTrseYwhFqLcIsO9kKtHue8BzSd2gw3_FH6x62MZCco0KSHy-yezyC29as38OWjPqRx_27LJjH1py5PTvnqWGn5OMJJcAv2fx2b3ljEf-G3T0_gngduZPDAg7Ku4a1s/s320/anniversary.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>I really liked how this turned out I don't have the stampin up punch that you are supposed to use or the circle punch but I improvised and this is what I came up with. For my first card I chose to use Scott from the Sweet Gothic Kids B-day set. A hard choice because they are all so adorable. I wanted to make a more simple streamlined "guys" card so here is what I came up with. I used a pirate stamp set to create a window then cut that out on my background paper and card. I loved Scott's tattoo so I used that as an idea to create my own background papers. I then just added a blue and white striped ribbon to pull out a little of the color from his jeans. I wasn't planning on entering this challenge but when I found this sentiment from bluebirdflats, I had to put this together. Just for fun for my boys!<br />

This is a close to our hearts challenge. I recycle and reuse what I can anyway, not just for my crafts but household as well. It helps the environment to recycle and with 3 kiddo's and only hubby's income it gives me more to play with as my crafts have a limited budget. :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="color: purple;">I chose to use the Emmy Digi she is so cute I couldn't help it. I created a Welcome Spring card for 2 reasons. First I am so tired of snow and we are under another storm warning 7-13" heading our way so I am so ready for spring. This card is going to Emily because she has been going around say " the groundhog is such a liar" lol what a card she is.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPHNtJ7Uarz06ik4Fj1WBVLI3abb3kME7wSKyWG1iAqsrYaqQ0xl2sp-Mcfbey4IjhxXicclhyphenhyphenM-Uqrrv_tTzUB9JB5gz-raRAMSIRATI-uRZXaTulZnwbkVG9pyM7uSZyT5SIrQ2gKPI/s1600/recycle+challenge+007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPHNtJ7Uarz06ik4Fj1WBVLI3abb3kME7wSKyWG1iAqsrYaqQ0xl2sp-Mcfbey4IjhxXicclhyphenhyphenM-Uqrrv_tTzUB9JB5gz-raRAMSIRATI-uRZXaTulZnwbkVG9pyM7uSZyT5SIrQ2gKPI/s320/recycle+challenge+007.JPG" width="295" /></a></div><span style="color: purple;">The recycled part of the card is first the mushroom background, Emmy got a bratz angelz fairy doll for her birthday and this was behind the doll. It had a couple rips which I covered with the flower, the digi herself and the small butterfly. The Butterfly was also on the package, the other side says something about an online code. I pressed it onto a blue stamp pad and when it dried used stickles. The wand I added to Emmy's hand is a broken stick pin that I also stickled. I added the lil spring banner on the bottom of the front mushroom to cover some other print. The top ribbon was off the wrapping from the gift. The large butterfly at the top was a leftover valentine card and the circle behind it was the top off an empty ribbon spool. This was so much fun thanks for an amazing challenge.</span>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-84309884944652928312011-02-23T07:50:00.000-08:002011-02-23T07:50:52.255-08:00Wow it's been awhile!I have missed being online lately but first my Hubby was very very ill, then I was down with a nasty bug, then my poor lil Emmy got sick and is just now back to school. She still has a lil cough but is doing so much better. Don't you just hate it when your little ones run those high fevers for what seems like forever. Anyway I am finally getting back to posting. Here are a couple cards I made quick for a Valentine poster display.<br />
<br />
Here I used Tobie & his Buddy from Some Odd Girl. I adore this lil guy, I colored him with sharpie markers. I added a lil more mud to his shoes cus lets face it if ya got mud on your pants ya gots mud on your shoes Lol, anyway I used a simple blue patterned paper circle to make him pop. A Kiss me & Happy Valentines Day stamp, then a metallic red ribbon I got on sale after Christmas to finish. What a boy's card : )<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSSvZoH-7Ff91T9Egwyekvu4_fU35aIk-79nknRwdKmisaRSHWh9665FhekWyR0QFgvWCrIE1-OnZVD7lxZ_DgSSJ-dDQy3460YcYkji0FwtI1obm6xI_twMxuqSNj20xbABnCpSYrOjM/s1600/Valentine+card+class+013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSSvZoH-7Ff91T9Egwyekvu4_fU35aIk-79nknRwdKmisaRSHWh9665FhekWyR0QFgvWCrIE1-OnZVD7lxZ_DgSSJ-dDQy3460YcYkji0FwtI1obm6xI_twMxuqSNj20xbABnCpSYrOjM/s1600/Valentine+card+class+013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSSvZoH-7Ff91T9Egwyekvu4_fU35aIk-79nknRwdKmisaRSHWh9665FhekWyR0QFgvWCrIE1-OnZVD7lxZ_DgSSJ-dDQy3460YcYkji0FwtI1obm6xI_twMxuqSNj20xbABnCpSYrOjM/s320/Valentine+card+class+013.JPG" width="241" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuuBByhToaXK1vaEEBBaOoZSogH9YnmsRibjMfdB0Vp9jPQdZyD8QzgkcD_U3wXns9LpaPTIVJGZ9W1Jpmi_JmswpeDHXzfMbpUvm8mPBpyOMomuR1e8Q7mj_kWgiOHLBuhfUrqGM-4Ic/s1600/Valentine+card+class+010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuuBByhToaXK1vaEEBBaOoZSogH9YnmsRibjMfdB0Vp9jPQdZyD8QzgkcD_U3wXns9LpaPTIVJGZ9W1Jpmi_JmswpeDHXzfMbpUvm8mPBpyOMomuR1e8Q7mj_kWgiOHLBuhfUrqGM-4Ic/s200/Valentine+card+class+010.JPG" width="131" /></a></div><br />
On a blue card I layered white cardstock &glitter. Then a smaller pink which I used a corner rounder on. A smaller piece of white was used next which I punched the corners then used a blue inkpad to add the pale color. I layered this onto the pink & added more glitter, this time a chunky one. I colored the digi ( a freebie but I can't find where I got this :( I'm sorry & if anyone knows please let me know so I may give credit to this artist.) with sharpie markers I added a lil bling to the bottom of the hearts. A flower finishes this one off.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;"></div>Here I used a striped Christmas paper the border is a M.S. edge punch. I used my cuttlebug to make the stamp, added a simple pink ribbon and two paper roses. The I Love You is a stamp and Emily added the foil sticker.<br />
<br />
<br />
Thanks for visiting I can't wait to get back in the swing of posting more often (knock on wood for no more family illnesses) :) Anyway leave me a word if ya got a second, I love to read what ya think.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-89560970714924459862011-01-28T04:48:00.000-08:002011-01-28T04:48:44.865-08:00Emmy's challenge at SBS<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Here is my card for the Bling it up challenge on </span><a href="http://simplybettychallenges.blogspot.com/"><span style="font-size: large;">http://simplybettychallenges.blogspot.com/</span></a><span style="font-size: large;"> . I did a Birthday card for my Emmy, she's 10 on Feb. 1 wow how the time flies. I choose to use her favorite colors so pink, purple, and lime green (she also likes blue and orange and yellow and.....Lol ) For the white background card I used a paper that is not my most favorite but it has a ton of glitter on it, It's from an old walmart pack called Best occasions. The purple and green are from a DCWV Christmas stack. The pink I embossed with the cuttlebug then to the depressed areas added pink glitter glue, I also glittered up her wings shoes and headband. I used another cuttlebug set to make the birthday present stamp at the bottom. 2 trims were used and that pink ribbon has so much bling to it Oh la la. I took a chipboard flower and coated it with lt. pink then a darker pink glitter added a jewel brad and voila. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Happy Early Birthday Baby You Are Amazing!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div>The challenge is Two is Better than One... use two images to create a love card, or it could be a Besties card the possibilities are endless with two images! My project is not a card it is the top of a valentine gift box for my daughter, Emily! I love to recycle so this was originally a shoe box. I added the red pink and white paper( which is really for Christmas) The pink with all the hearts to the left is a piece of the cardboard backing that came with the pink doily's I used behind Betty and Rio. The sentiment was a freebie from digital delights by louby loo( hope I got that right) I added lil red and white rhinestones over the dots on the sentiment, and white ones to the center of my red flowers. With Emmy it's all about the bling lately. Lol I also punched out the little hearts on the left with a MS punch, added two different ribbons, the one on the bottom with all the hearts is older and not sure where I got it and the Valentines Day one is from my local family dollar store. Hope you like my recycled project. I will be putting crafting supplies in it for her valentine present(shh don't tell)<br />

She flies across the Christmas eve sky with her lil black helper delivering lovely, scary emo gifts to everyone! Always busy the last couple days of school before break, but lots of fun too!<br />
So who decided to let the kids decorate by themselves? You know they can't agree on anything :) Fun challenge I used Trim the tree Rio, Back to school Miller and Tangled Jude as the family kids. Rio is humming "deck the halls" Miller is late as usual and not too happy with Rio's choices, and while they argue poor lil Jude just wants a tree up so Santa will visit. Fun, fun, fun and skull and cross bones worthy situation!<br />

I used Rio for this one and she was being an attention diva so her fellow scare-o-lers somehow didn't make it onto the card.( :)OK so I spent the last 2days painting the backdrop for our choir program. No other parents cared to help out so I was alone except for a lil help from the choir teacher herself. So I whipped this lil card up in the last 2hrs. Sorry for it's simplicity I do kind of like how she turned out though.) I colored her with sharpies, added sheet music to her hands and notes around her. Her friend cat, and spider came scare-o-ling with her. She is placed on pink paper embossed with snowflakes which I then used a dauber with white pigment ink over top the embossing to make it pop. I frosted the edges of the card and background paper. Like I said quick but I kinda like how she turned out.<br />

I gotta say that if Jacob Marley looked like this I might just welcome a visit. Hehehe. Anyway I colored my image with pencils this time an used my sharpies to outline. I wanted a dark outline with light colors as if his form was wispy. I also wanted a 3d look to the mirror as if he was reaching out. I colored a second image cut out only the arms and attached it to the outside of the mirror which is cut from the french manor cartridge at 4and a half ". Drippy goo is used on the sparkle white paper behind the image on the inside, and a ghost punch on the corners of the bronze paper. I used the same elastic ribbon to camouflage the mirror hole on the inside that I used on the outside with black ribbon roses. I used a few beads and some beading wire to make the chains Marley has to carry. Lots of pics.<br />

Or well he has actually arrived! All you have to do is create your version of Sandy Claws on your projects Here is my Sandy Clause, a lil more difficult challenge as I have never seen the Nightmare Before Christmas Movie. I choose to use the Skeleton Peter Digi from SBS. I added a Santa hat and present to his sack. I drew on some stitching lines to look more like Jack's bag. A simple background of speckled navy cardstock, I cut the swirl out of the same paper and popped it up. A cream circle behind Peter and the MS spiderweb punch instead of snowflakes in a sparkling white paper.<br />

I decided to do a layout this time. We try to make a small craft to decorate tables and trays at our local hospice most holidays. My Father in law spent a good bit of time there before he passed and it really helps us through the holidays to give back to a place that helped us through. This page will be for the picture hospice always takes of the kids when we make our delivery. I hope you like Rio giving a holiday helping hand! The white glitter paper behind Rio is punched with a MS border punch, the little bit of lime fluff is a feather Halloween trim i got at Joann's at 90% off. The snowman is cut at 4" from the snow friends cricut cartridge, I just cut off his head,cut around Rio's hand and arm then inserted the head.<br />

Visions of Steampunks! & a story:)<em>So have you ever come across an image and a story or background just popped into your head? When the Steampunk line came out I fell in love with the Grace image. She looked so gentle and sweet but you could tell she had been through some rough times. I saw her immediately as a post Civil war southern belle. Here is a little Christmas background for the Grace card I did for my entry. I will show the card first for those who are not interested in the story.</em><br />

They are throwing a welcome home party for Christian, her childhood playmate. Christian was attending school up north when the war broke out. No longer a believer in Southern politics he joined the Union Army. Grace is wearing what remains of her 2 favorite party gowns. A lovely olive green silk gown which she has salvaged quite a bit of, and a burgundy brocade with only the blouse left. Her petticoats and crinolines have long since been sacrificed, bandages for some stray soldiers wounds, wash cloths and various mundane things. Instead she bustles the dress with bits and pieces of broken men's belts. She has learned to adapt these past few years, 2 lovely dresses become a serviceable gown. Where once she had traveled this road in a carriage loaded with sweets and presents, now she walks bearing the gift of apples harvested by her own hand. She stops and picks a bough of Holly leaves and gives thanks for what she does have. When she was younger Grandpap (a sailor) would tell her you can whether most any storm if you just batten down the hatches. Grace did just that, she learned, adapted, improvised and she survived.</em></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Oops forgot to tell you how I did this card first of all I kinda wanted an almost hourglass shape, I did this by using 2 different colored papers the tan in almost an egg shape then cut one end off flat. The Green is a circle cut in less than half, for each half. I used an ivory lace on each side I used the same lace which I finger gathered into a rosette and added a piece from an old broken bracelet, I used a burgundy and mauve ribbon behind it. Since I wanted a Christmas feel I replaced the maple leaf with holly and leaves in Grace's hand. The sentiment is a stamp and I cut flower around it with my only nestabilities set I used some old beads around it then added some leaf sequins and red center beads. I useda dusty mauve ink and inked the edges of the tan and a green distress ink on the lite green patterned paper. All of this is placed on holly background paper and onto a white card. Grace is colored with Sharpies.</div>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-55928368163658529222010-12-06T19:36:00.000-08:002010-12-06T19:36:18.127-08:00Blog candy alert! from sassy scrapper<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQInTzNoZl6IhNQ9TD0gHrHXgyPtwCQF2s9_2P4zvlyDSMZoInukIN8CM0FiUprsQhMXHiCkw1FKYEZuEI9I7L6b-LwqPhu2y92uRaJjeC5X7hA8mEfmaio4qLH3wHDaLg6xbbYmDeww/s1600/IMG_2753.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" ox="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQInTzNoZl6IhNQ9TD0gHrHXgyPtwCQF2s9_2P4zvlyDSMZoInukIN8CM0FiUprsQhMXHiCkw1FKYEZuEI9I7L6b-LwqPhu2y92uRaJjeC5X7hA8mEfmaio4qLH3wHDaLg6xbbYmDeww/s320/IMG_2753.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWa8H-h8ahvx1o5BQ5JEB7p7SBkc_uxK8-suZWfEITXHVpwxadboySBRSfUTBQPMtyz7FAlXkgSrQIFvI8_gGtB7wLLLUmOaz1z6HPc2nkpQWYv1ZCrzdhwpCDq8FrZVGGNnDhSUuqtw/s1600/IMG_2753.JPG">https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWa8H-h8ahvx1o5BQ5JEB7p7SBkc_uxK8-suZWfEITXHVpwxadboySBRSfUTBQPMtyz7FAlXkgSrQIFvI8_gGtB7wLLLUmOaz1z6HPc2nkpQWYv1ZCrzdhwpCDq8FrZVGGNnDhSUuqtw/s1600/IMG_2753.JPG</a>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-8213333297561021132010-12-05T18:54:00.000-08:002010-12-05T18:54:23.818-08:00Day 5 at SBS Jingle Spells, Jingle Spells...it's a Witches Christmas day!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI93M2TC1nAS3i-7zvud_BFBJhjKJW9g6A9hIDDB9X6nfzFiPa8QjtiQ1bNlVkeij3nbPHh980y5rgSXewz_2asMTH6EfSYJM42_Z-7r_73Gy1AlvLEihofg76Qde_rwKMqLyFvFz4TEk/s1600/icybetty.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="314" ox="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI93M2TC1nAS3i-7zvud_BFBJhjKJW9g6A9hIDDB9X6nfzFiPa8QjtiQ1bNlVkeij3nbPHh980y5rgSXewz_2asMTH6EfSYJM42_Z-7r_73Gy1AlvLEihofg76Qde_rwKMqLyFvFz4TEk/s320/icybetty.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So today I decided to use witch Betty as an Icy Witch. Who needs to dream of a White Christmas when you can cast a spell for one. Blue, White and Silver are my favorite Christmas colors, funny cus I don't do well in the cold:) Any way here is my entry for today, I was going to put a lil snow fairy in Betty's hand like she was an ingredient for the spell but since I still have to use my phone camera it looked like a mess up spot. pooh how long does it take to get something shipped gheesh. Oh well, hope you like my Icy Witches for Christmas. I drew some swirls in 4 different blue shades to float up from the c<span style="background-color: yellow;">auldron</span>, Gold star tinsel along the top, Above Betty's field head it says "Casting for a White Christmas" It has some gold doodling around the circle. I also added snowflake doodles to Betty's hat and Icy witches has added gold doodling as well. I know I know you can't see it. So sad about that. Can't wait till the next challenge. </span>Trickuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069723636529728278noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7376222367086028200.post-12241350111057662012010-12-04T16:11:00.000-08:002010-12-04T16:11:33.032-08:00Day 4 Sugar and Spice and everything Scary!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So as soon as I heard the challenge this week candy and spiders came to mind, this is what the result was.
